The Rider (Faris – Knight) has a special responsibility for his mount. The horse should feel no pain and no harm when ridden during the competition.
If the horse is neglected in any way, the rider will be excluded from the competition at the judges' discretion.
During the Mounted Archery Competition three different competition styles are executed: The Korean Style; the Hungarian Style and the Turkish Style. Winners of all three different styles are determined according to their ranks, which will result the winner of the competition.
The orders of the judge and the doorman must be obeyed. If the doorman or the judge have stopped the run while the rider is already on track, than he may finish the gallop but he is not permitted to release any arrow. If he does so, he may be excluded from the entire competition immediately.
